I have noticed a couple of things and I am wondering if it's normal or if I should call Pontiac? One is the fact that the car shakes when I have it in park. Two, The first time I turn on the air or heat in the morning and I crank it, it sounds like a leaf is in my middle vent. When I turn it down and then turn it up again, it's gone??? Just my luck,by the time I get it down to the dealership he won't hear it. LMAO !! Go figure. Anybody else having issues? But the good news is my wipers work fine....

The shake at idle is normal for these cars, search around the forums, there's posts on that exact subject.

As for the heat or air? Not sure, I tend to not want to crank either right after I start my car. The one time I have cranked my air after starting, I had no issues though. I would say keep monitoring that and if it truly does bother you, then by all means bring it in and have it looked at.

And my wipers, like yours, are pretty good for the most part. I do see a little bit of smearing on the return stroke like some have stated, but it's minimal, and it only does it generally when I use my washer fluid to clean the windshield.

Thanks Slizzo:). My only train of thinking here is that if it were a serious problem with heat or air it would do it all the time. I did not mean first thing in morning. I have cranked it after it has run for 15 minutes or so. It only does it first full crank up.Thanks again.

Mine doesn't shake either

Some shake, some don't.

Mine didn't at first, but has only shaken a few times, usually when sitting there for longer than normal, i.e. loading new CD's into the stereo, making sure I didn't forget anything, waiting for the rear window to defog, etc.

Mine has the on/off shake. I just like to think of it as the car saying "Hurry Upppp.. Let's Go!"
