Picked up my car today with TEIN suspension installed. 48mm drop at the moment. A little bit too low for me, I guess I'll going to raise it 10-15mm when I get some time for it.

it would be probably a good idea to contact JHP directly on it http://www.jhp.com.au/contact-form-main.php
since originally I wasn't going for fully adjustable suspension.
option 1 - http://www.jhp.com.au/img/products/exteriors/suspension/option-1-h.jpg
It was down the road that JHP and TEIN decided to test the fully adjustable option on my car and I couldn't refuse the offer. :secret:

Awesome stuff dede.

Whats the ride like?

What springs rates did you end up getting?

I got 3 kgf/mm on the front, 6 kgf/mm on the rear.
Surprisingly, ride comfort got better. I believe my shocks are set at the softest setting right now. I haven't tried to adjust them yet, I have too many projects going on.

I like having the adjustment, what was the total cost of parts and install. It looks awsome down low, makes it look more like a 5 series.

Looks great Dede...

You said it rides better than factory even that low? Coilover's FTW!

I can't find anything to complain about. And I did really look for it :)
For exception of going over the speed bumps too fast

This is a little too low to/for me...are you going to adjust it upward or keep it at this height?

The coilovers basic design doesn't have anything to do with the way the set up rides. The stock spring/strut setup with similar spring rates and valving would ride the same. The numbers that were provided convert over to 167 lb/in and 335 lb/in. Not that stiff at all. That combined with the fact the OP stated he had his settings to max soft would probably explain the better ride quality. It would be nice if the stock spring rates could be had, which i haven't seen yet.

Dede are these single adjustable, rebound, only?

What design are they ie:twin tube, monotube?

Thanks...

I was going to, like I mentioned in my first post. But after I took nearly 200lbs of junk out of my car, it seemed a lot better. Plus, I'm too lazy at this point.

My knowledge of suspensions is very limited - lowering the car is not really part of my hobbies. Most things you ask, I will have to ask JHP or TEIN themselves. But you are welcome to come over and take a look and ride in it too. :D

edit
• Steel Construction
• Twin Tube internal construction
• 16 way adjustable dampers, compression and rebound combined
• Ride Height adjustable via spring seat
• Larger piston diameter for strut type front and rear (22mm)
• Powder coated damper body with Zinc coated threaded section
