Back to the track with some new numbers , shocked a few people there !

Ok , I went back to the track tonight , the conditions were exactly the same as they were a few weeks ago when I ran 13.4 @ 105 mph . The only thing I changed was that I put a Powerbond Underdrive crank pulley , and did some slight retuning at the track . So , just to break down what I have done here :

New Era Intake
160 degree thermostat
Powerbond underdrive crank pulley
Custom tuning (key)
Full weight
Stock tires with full air pressure
Track is about 950 feet above sea level (same track as before)

I ran 13.1 @ 106.8 mph with a 2.024 60 foot time , I know it will be in the 12's with drag radials and hopefully I can get back up there in a couple weeks to find out .

So ... Now it is time to call out Racer X in his Jag (lol)! Guess the pulley worked a little bit better than a dyno graph shows ! Maybe now it is worth the $$$ ?

Actually I don't know what the DA was , but it was right about the same temp and Humidity percentage as the last time when I ran 13.4 @ 105 mph .

What did the dyno show on the UD pulley and what was the part # and where did you buy it? Edit: forget about it... I just saw your other thread.

12's are going to be here soon it looks like...

What about exhaust?

Something to consider here. The time/place that you're going to see the most gains from an UD pulley (as well as it being light weight) is when the motor is spinning up to redline the fastest, which is the lower gears. Typically, you don't do that on a dyno, so dyno'ing those pullies isn't an accurate portrayal of what they're able to do for you.

We sell the pulley , and all of the other parts on the car , we did the testing on everything on our dyno . You can order any of these items here www.neweraperformanceparts.com .

Also , here is the thread that refers to what I got on the dyno with the underdrive pulley :

Mike, nice work, wish you were in Missouri. Just a little to far to travel for a tune up.

Nice run bro! I can't wait to go nuts on performance parts with the G8. I'm looking at the new supercharger kit that's coming out.
