Back to the track with some new numbers , shocked a few people there !
Ok , I went back to the track tonight , the conditions were exactly the same as they were a few weeks ago when I ran 13.4 @ 105 mph . The only thing I changed was that I put a Powerbond Underdrive crank pulley , and did some slight retuning at the track . So , just to break down what I have done here :
New Era Intake
160 degree thermostat
Powerbond underdrive crank pulley
Custom tuning (key)
Full weight
Stock tires with full air pressure
Track is about 950 feet above sea level (same track as before)
I ran 13.1 @ 106.8 mph with a 2.024 60 foot time , I know it will be in the 12's with drag radials and hopefully I can get back up there in a couple weeks to find out .
So ... Now it is time to call out Racer X in his Jag (lol)! Guess the pulley worked a little bit better than a dyno graph shows ! Maybe now it is worth the $$$ ?
