Okay, so I just got back from the dealership. I took it in for two reasons. One, the car shakes from moment to moment when I was in park with the engine running waiting to pick up my kid. Two, there was a russling sound coming from the middle left air vent. I got lucky the mechanics bay was empty and I had 3 mechanics looking at it at once. They ran a few tests and I stayed the whole time and watched. They explained to this Old Ex-Suburban driving Mom about V-8 and cams:confused:. They said all was good there. Second, I have a small leaf in air vent. They want me to see if it will work it's way out in next week or so and if not bring it back in. So, the bad news is I wasted my morning, Good news, Nothing is wrong with her and I got a free car wash:wink2:. Thanks to all of you for your support on earlier posts:).

yeah everyone has that slightly bumpy/shakey idle. Nothin at all to worry about. As far as the leaf, that's just annoying but nothing serious lol.

Not so. All owners of Magnetic Grey metallic GTs with premium & sports pkgs have smooth idles with nary a lump.
Well, except in my case, the lump is behind the wheel. :p

Consider this... Back in the day, there was Pontiac marketing that mentioned lower than avg idle revs for GM's "excitement" brand. To have sportier sounding engines... I can't find this online anywhere, but I and some cohorts remember this fact.
Does anyone else?
