:search:i believe the vette and g8 share the same tire setup. if so then we can swap out the tires or have a bigger selection of rims to choose from. :search:

I beleive the Corvette is an offset of +54 for the fronts and they are too wide, we need between +40 and +48. Also the bolt pattern won't work we use 120mm and the Vette is still 4.75 I think. Anyway after some research I beleive 08 Cadillac CTS wheels would work because they are 120mm / +48. Wouldn't GTO wheels work?

I hope the hell so.

;) I meant for fitment of aftermarket wheels. I have been search while we have been on this thread. Seems that there are a lot of BMW's running 120mm bolt circles and off sets in the +40 - +48 range. Maybe we should look at aftermarket BMW wheels?

That's where you'll find most of your wheels, are ones meant for BMWs. M3's use really weird offsets, as I was going to try a set of stock M3 wheels, but decided against it.

M3 wheels would look great I think, especially the gun metal version. What is the offset/size for the M3 wheels?

Other than the offsets, the main problem is that most BMW wheels are bored for a 12mm bolt, and the G8 needs a 14mm hole for the stud. Depending on the wheel, it may not work.

Same with the GTO wheels. Some people have machined the lug holes to work, but off the shelf won't work.

Mine were meant for the bmw 3 series and the new mustangs. Most wheels with a dual bolt pattern have the larger bore to fit many applications.

They will. The G8 wheels will not fit on GTOs though. IIRC, there is sufficient room in most wheels for the 14mm studs to come through. But, you should use aftermarket lug nuts that still have a 19mm (3/4") head so your stock tire tool (which GTs don't have) could work. Or you can get a four-way lug wrench. If I find out that my ST doesn't have a spare tire, then I will go through the trouble of gathering what is necessary to equip it with what I need.
