Well im going to be running my car on a dyno very soon (June 5th) and i just dont wanna be embarrassed lol what do you think the car runs at the wheels?

That's what Chief's V6 put out on when he tested the Magnaflow cat back. I think it was with the CAI too.

I asked the same question sometime ago. I think Chief had his dynoed. I think you get around 205-218rwhp. Using 256hp @ 15-20% loss. The service manual has 261hp for the V6.

Trifecta has dyno results from the one that they tried tuning.

If I remember right, mine was around 200 RWHP with the magnaflow exhaust. No CAI.

If the trifecta dyno is on a stock car, then something is a miss. Either the car is already max tuned from the factory, or they are not sure how to tune the car with the VVT. A increase of 3 HP and 1 TQ is nonothing. A difference in outside temp can cause that.

Wow, I'll be mad if I paid $300+ for no gain. That dynoed high, but like is said all dynos are different.

I agree, a K&N drop in gain. It has a nice power curve too, it's has nice and flat torque and HP all the way to the end.

When I dynoed my last weekend w/ K&N intake i had 212hp with 205tq at 6500rpm... Yesturday i had a custom exhaust installed. I completely removed the pre muffler installed an X pipe and a dual in and out magnaflow into the resonators and removed the rear mufflers. Sounds great and you can feel difference.

They did it the same was GM did for the 2010 Camaro. Advances in engine design and tuning from the factory.

Our version of the 3.6 is showing it's age. Though I'll trade 30-50HP for RWD.

Wow. I guess the laptop speakers helped it out, hahaha, j/k :slap:. Also after rereading your post I can tell my reading comprehension skills suck at times. Didn't know it sound pretty good. Unless thats a CAI. I still would like to hear your current exhaust setup.

Well...had my girl on the DYNO again....First test was back in March of this year...on the same day they installed my CAI and Corsa Exhaust...best run, 195. So....today, our group went down...and the numbers were much better...best run...226.54 HP ~ 231.74 Torque. Definately put a smile on my face...going back on the 25th for a Tune...guess HP now has a tune for the V6...so we will see what the outcome of the tune will be. :driving:
