Ok guys yesterday i got my ECM/TCM tune from VMS. Well after a little spirited driving i noticed something. When i punch it first then shift it at 6200 and punch it again the motor revs but doesnt catch the gear. I don't know if that makes sense or not. Its like flooring it in 2nd motor revs then catches 2nd and then goes. Don't think it ever did that before the ECM/TCM tune. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Stab the gas and leave the pedal on the floor. ;)

Thanks man. I was wondering why why that was happening!
I don't understand people like you. If you want to shift buy a stick.

With a G8 GT you don't get a choice.

Ya, i was waiting for that to come up. I wish this car would have had that option but it did not. Also, i was offered a good deal and was able to get great fianicing with little money down so i picked it up. It was exactly what i was looking for.

When you drive this tranny aggressively and then lift off the gas suddenly it has a tendency to hold the present gear because it thinks you're going into a hard corner and will want to be able to power out of the exit. Getting choppy with the throttle just confuses it more.

A properly driven performance vehicle should have a nice big dent in the firewall from your foot hitting it hard. :)
