: 2nd gear not kick in right away?? G8GT594 05-31-2008, 01:45 PM Ok guys yesterday i got my ECM/TCM tune from VMS. Well after a little spirited driving i noticed something. When i punch it first then shift it at 6200 and punch it again the motor revs but doesnt catch the gear. I don't know if that makes sense or not. Its like flooring it in 2nd motor revs then catches 2nd and then goes. Don't think it ever did that before the ECM/TCM tune. Any help would be appreciated. Also, i was offered a good deal and was able to get great fianicing with little money down so i picked it up. It was exactly what i was looking for. lonewolfz28 06-01-2008, 08:45 AM When you drive this tranny aggressively and then lift off the gas suddenly it has a tendency to hold the present gear because it thinks you're going into a hard corner and will want to be able to power out of the exit.
