Been lurking for a couple weeks. I bought a silver 2009 G8 GT with sport and premium package. It has 12k miles and is in great shape.

I used to have a GTP and modded it down to high 12's before I sold it and got a 6 speed trans am. I had it for a while and did the typical intake, pcm, exhaust mods. I sold it about a year ago and had an urge to get a sports sedan. For the price, the G8 can't be touched. I am been a GM guy forever, so it was only natural.

1. The transmission tuning is retarded...... I have a 100k bumper to bumper warranty so I am hesitant to get tuning.
2. I am interested in adding factory bluetooth
3. would like a way to add backup sensor/camera and enable aux 2 on the display.
4. HID's would be a nice addition, I only want white. It would be nice to have that improved vision at night.
5. Wish it had more growl when getting on it. Although, I appreciate the quiet while Idling and cruising. The TA was really LOUD.
6. The glove box, are you kidding me?http://forum.***********/images/smilies/facepalmhy2.gif Any home remedies for the rattling?
7. the space where the atari gauges go.. What to do with it? Anyone got examples of utilizing it for something useful.
8. and the craziest for last. My escort 8500 laser alert triggers when I point it toward the radio LCD? WTH?

Lastly, I love the car. It cruises the highway so smoothly, just awesome.

Thanks. I have a lot to read and catch up. I test drove a new 09 when pontiac was still alive but didn't pull the trigger at the MSRP price all the dealers were wanting. Got this for much less, so I benefited from the suffering wait!

I can only help with #5. Go corsa cat-back. Its only loud when you get on it, and still very reasonable during every day driving.
