I sent the following question via email to BMR (tech-help@bmrfabrication.com) on 05/03/10. I have yet to receive a reply, so I thought I would post it here:

Installation manual states that 1 of the 3 holes on the rear frame rail is oblong thus allowing for insertion of the frame insert(s).

However, for the 2009.5 G8, all three holes are round at that attachment point. No oblong holes are present.

Will this cause a problem when I go to install this product, or have you made changes to the frame insert from what is shown in the manual. Or do I have to modify a hole to make it fit?

You'll have to modfiy the hole with a die grinder or a dremel. Some other folks have done it, I don't think its too hard. I plan on getting them in in August, and will have to do the same modification
