Just another helpful tip. I've found that turning down the bass on the head unit is the only way to go when using after market subs (if you like it loud). Keeps the entire signal strong and sounds much cleaner when in the upper limits. The POS factory unit seems to self eq itself once at a certain volume. I have now turned my bass to 0, but I plan on adjusting all this week to get it dialed in.

BTW: Each Box Height 13" x Length 16" x Top Depth 12" x Bottom Depth 15.5", 3/4" MDF Wood Enclosure Volume is 1.25 Cubic.

Sounds like a freakin concert now!

DDL stands for "Dynamic Distortion Limiter." IRC, it is explained in the manual.

You are talking about the speed sesitive volume. Off the top of my head I don't know how to turn it off but it should be in the manual as well.

Yup yup. This needs to be turned off, as its "tuned" for the factory equipment.

I've turned down the speed (which controls volume according to vehicles speed) to 2 out of 5...and I did turn down the DDL just cause it sounded better. I had no idea of what it was....to lazy to search the manual.

Thanks for the info on the DDL.
