Its about time my approval came through.

I am new to here, but I've been around the messageboards for years.

I'm on Ls1tech, ls1gto, pro-touring, corvetteforums, and some misc GM fwd sites....

So I picked up my G8 GT on April 5th, I picked it up from Ben Maynatt Pontiac up in Concord NC.

The car came with a Fabo-tech CAI, SLP long tube headers, and Corsa cat back exhaust.

Its an '08 GT, 25k miles, and yeah my DD and I traded in my 98 GP GTP on it.

Only other real mods I plan on doing are homelink install in the visor, already got a homelink & extra sunvisor from fleabay. I also plan on getting some kind of HID's, haven't really looked into it yet. Plus I'm leaving for the Hot Rod Power Tour in < 10 days so I'm not really worried about car mods at this point.

I think my dad and I may have met you at Power Tour last year in Bristol. We were in his Black 09 GT with GXP wheels. May be a different person I'm thinking of, but the Lemans Blue vette fits the profile. Either way, good to see you picked up a G8.

I had the dealer remove mine...they are rivets...then kept the frame in case I get a ticket. Unfortuately, when I took it for detailing they threw away the frame and I didn't realize it until days later. :(

If you can't find GXP wheels, try TSW Nurburgrings. I think they look great on the car and the gray barrel matches the gray of the car.
