I just finished a Track II install yesterday in Phoenix. WOW, what a difference. We will have it available for you to test yourself and see the difference.
some special notes: The front struts and shocks are oil only and are made Monroe of Au, just like the GTO. The front struts were dated 11/27/07, and both front struts were leaking!. the G8 has about 1500 miles on it.
Also, when Pete, Brandon and myself did the test fit in Fairfield, we did a test on a long straight road that popele did not believe. We were able to do 90 degree truns hard left then right, as fast as I could, to keep the left fornt tires withi the white lines of the street. We were able to go to 60mph doing this test. We did not do it with the OEM suspension. Well, this time I did. I stopped the test at 35mph because the tires were starting to squeel, and the body role was so substantial and slow that the role was still taking place say to the right while I was starting to turn to the left. So at that time, I exceeded the abilties of the suspension and did not want to mark the tires. After install, even without sway bars because they are not in yet, I could go to almost 60mph but the street is pretty short to do it for a long time; unlike Fairfields.
So come in and see yourself.
At the Pedders dealer in Phoenix, we will ahve some really cool cars for you to see. From 55 chevs, to 600hp AC Cobras, to Lamborginis. In fact we wil have 3 Lambos there, one of which we should be able to do a test drive. Also for the gear heads, they have a engine assembly out of a lambo, so it will be worth it to come out and check out the Italian technology. Its a realy cool car
