So my friend just picked up an 04 GTO 5.7L. It has less than 20k original miles. It has a flowmaster exhaust as the only mod. If we were to race how would it turn out. He is manual and I am auto.

I think you can win that race. But, what does your friend has? :driving:

a stock GTO is about even with a stock GT, to 60mph anyway.

The 2004 GTO had 350hp. Weight is about the same as the G8. I think with your mods you will win nicely. This assumes you are a good driver. :)
