O.K. finally got new VMS ECM in and was driving along today in engineering mode marveling at the increased use of DOD and notice that the oil life is reading 15%. I'm sure that it's really at approx. 80% according to the last time I looked (and got email from onstar). Is the oil life info kept on the ECM and will change between ECMs? I'm sure I saw on a thread how to reset it......going to search now

With the car not running, but in the key in the on positon. Press the gas pedal fully 3 times in 5 seconds.
