Those are utes, wonder how they got in the country? Did you notice which side the steering wheels were on by chance?

After zooming in, it looks like the steering wheel is on the right. Can only get a glimpse of the white ute's interior when it is turning.

I didn't even think to see if they were left or right hand drive. I was concentrating on getting the pics, I had seen them roll by about an hour earlier and was hoping they would return back by my location.
They are East of Des Moines, Altoona actually. I am going to go over the the HRPT tomorrow, I think they will be there.

I was thinking the same, GM is a HRPT sponsor. If they are there tomorrow I am going to ask. Wouldn't surprise me that GM could be putting them on display to gauge interest.
It would be cool if the platform could make a return.

the only reason I can think of to own one of these is to turn heads. I have no idea what I'd do with it.

Those are HSV Maloo utes, so exciting to see them heading out to another country!! :)

Those guys fronted all the money themselves to get them over here. From the time they hit the port until they left people were offereing them money to buy them. There were 5 guys they were pretty cool.

They are utes, brought over for the Power Tour. I saw them in Birmingham. They are right hand drive and looked great. I would buy one if they would sell them in the states.

Dang, Go steal their front fenders. J/k...

It would be nice if they ever did get enough brains to start importing Holdens again. Get some parts affordable stateside.
