Just was wondering if anyone from the Long Island area will be making the trip to carlisle in two weeks. The date is June 20-June 22. I was hoping to see some of our local cars at the show. Like to see your replies....:driving:

If you guys are coming, the Susquehanna Valley GTO Tigers will have a hospitality tent set up again this year. We are also hosting Jim Wanger's GeeTo Tiger! On Friday night at Quarter Aces dragway, there will be a "Beat the Tiger" contest, where you can race against the famed GeeTo Tiger!
If you pre register for Carlisle, please mark your club affiliation as GTOAA or SVGTO, as each registration with either of those clubs will count towards our club getting reimbursed for the cost of the tent.
I will have my entire herd there on Saturday!

I was there, but I didn't get there until 4:30 and I hung out with the Grand Prix guys after chatting with G8V8. I saw macgto's car nearby but I didn't get a chance to talk to him.

I was there Saturday with the Capitol City GTOs and had a great time. I got to chat with macgto, G8 612, and DuBob for a while. I think we were the only G8s there. In the Show Field there was no location for G8s. They officially put G8s in with Grand Prixs for parking and judging. Luckily they (GP) were trunk to trunk with the GTOs so I was very close to the guys I convoyed up with. It was impressive, at one point there were 17 GTOs in row ahead of me. What a great sight!

This is amazing guys. Because Carlisle had no class for G8s, they put us in with 1978 and up Grand Prix for the fan judging competition. My G8 took 3rd place! Amazing. I was the only G8 parked with the GPs. They were right beside the CCGTO tent so it got me close to my bros and followed the parking rules Carlisle wanted.

This year I actually believe there were more Pontiacs than Camaros! LOL. There must have been at least 40 new GT0's along with the usual classic muscle.
I took quite a few pics.
