Have a read of the following:
http://www.caradvice.com.au/599/holden-ve-commodore-suspension-system/
Also wanted to mention that the VE Commodore also benefits from near perfect 50:50 weight distribution across all models.
Journalists have also stated that the ESP system is one of the worlds best.
Guys i bet you guys can't wait to get one... :yumyum:

I'd Expect the suspension to be softened up for the US market.

12.6 inch discs all around, thats pretty good, although I think I would have liked more than a 2 piston setup at the front.

The only thing I've seen is that its a pig weight wise and the center of gravity is a little high. I'm sure the right suspension and power adder can fix that problem though.

This car will still allow me to add wider rear wheels & tires. Without any type of fender flares.

I thought it said that was for the base version? I'm sure a GXP version will have better brakes.

There's always the aftermarket. Or, you could order the HSV kit.

I'm looking to do some 10.5" with 315s. I just need a car to test fit them on.

I think we might be able to fit 'em. HSV uses a 9.5" rim in the rear of the Clubbie & GTS. But, they only put a 275 tire on them. As long as we have some clearance inside the wheelwell, we can go bigger. With the VE's rear suspension design, the only thing that might stop us is the inner fender. But, you're familiar with the BFH. :D
