What is the best way to get rid of the paint chips from people bumping into you rear bumper.
I have a couple dozen of small spots that isn't bad but someone who dosen't know how to get out of a parralell park completely scratched the drivers side rear corner of the bumper.
How can I get rid of those marks.

I would first like to start off my saying I hate people that do things like this to people's cars and then flee. Happens all the time were I work and want to slap the SH*& out of these people :slap:
Anyway, all that you would be able to do yourself is, compound the scratches, wax it after, then whatever doesn't come off that way, touch-up paint. Either that or get it sanded, primed and repainted for a few hundred dollars....

That's the reason I park a half a mile out and walk. Good excersize and no marks on the ride :)
For suggestions, pictures may help some forum members out when it comes to paint repair to see exactly what the problem is. If it's chipping paint, then there is not much you can do except to repaint it. If it's a scuff or something, it could be buffed out possibly.

Yeah somebody vandilized my car by scratching a lower case "b" in my hood. I have no idea when this couldve happened but I am very pissed about it. Wax, rubbing compound or clay bar wont help it so I have to get part of my hood repainted by my boy that works at a body shop.

If that happened to me and I found who did it I would probably pound the living crap out of them, then carve a lower case b into their face :cursin: I can't stand people that do that. Jealous bastards. Nothin gets me goin more than dis-respect for people and people's property.

Paint chips from their car, or paint chips removed from yours?
No matter how you slice it, if you can catch your fingernail in the scratch, compound will only take you to the primer. If not than use a scratch remover product. I prefer Mothers here.
Scratch X is a favorite of many.
