W\O spending a dime, I simply turn off the stabilizer system, put the tranny in performance mode and go to town.
It appears that the extra processing time it takes for the MCU to compute out all the dynamics to keep U on the road safe also takes extra computing time from performance.

Not quite. What you *might* be noticing is that if you are spinning the tires (even slightly) the car will pull massive timing and throttle position with the ESC on. With the ESC off, the system will not pull timing or throttle thus making the car feel more responsive.
It has nothing to do with processing time or processing power, lol.

So that’s what it is? Hmm!
Thanks for the tech info…You seem to know a lot about cars.
It still feels a lot more responsive to me just trying to get around slower moving traffic LOL!
I used to love tinkering with cars as a teen until the big three saw it in their wisdom to shove FWD down my throat and I went to RWD imports, trucks and RWD SUV’S.
And then SHE came along and woke up the teenager in me! LOL!
Already I have fixed the blinding airbag on\off light, blacked out the Atari gauges (now the interior looks more business like) got around the NAV and Bluetooth dilemma with a Tomtom and a few other add-ons. Something I haven’t done in years since my ’96 T-Bird to be exact.
Is this car fun or what! LOL!
