Great product for my 2009.5 GXP. I have about 200 feet of range for the remote.

I have the SAS extender also. Strange but I only got great distance on the first day, about 200'. After that I could only get about 25'.

I also asked the dealer to take a look at the problem. They replaced my fob and I got great distance again for a day or two, then back to 25'. :(

Ya, I haven't heard much from SAS regarding this...they kinda quietly tucked their tail between their legs and scooted off......off with our money...lol

No, like I've said many times you may have to adjust the antenna after install. If you dont want to take the time to optimize it thats fine but then dont come on here saying yours doesnt work. I've put about 50 of these in myself, all work as advertised. Also if you got GREAT range one day and bad the next something happened IE the antenna moved or you more than likely have a bad RCDLR.

I've taken my rear deck off twice to do this re-adjustment (no easy task)....I'm not doing it again, I'm stuck with the crappy range...so don't start yapping and telling me it's my fault or the antenna fell or my battery is weak or the moon's electromagnetic field is interfering or some other lame excuse...I'm not the only one with the problem. This antenna did not extend my range at all...period. I have asked for a refund...to which it was denied. I'll be more than happy to spin a positive note on this product if it worked as advertised. And, might I add on the original advertisement, they claimed a huge range, than came back and said something otherwise...i can't find the original thread to back this up.

You got a positive spin to add to increase my range....lay it on me...otherwise, the antenna is crap. Period.

The post below is where I asked for my money back...and did the suggested "tricks" and it has a few people stating the trick didn't work.....

For those who have issues with a vendor's product, take it private with the vendor

Well if you are taking the shelf off that might be part of the problem since the adjustment area at the end of the antenna which should be easily accessible via removing the c-pillar cover. As far as it being your fault, its either your install, a faulty RCDLR or the battery in your fob or the fob itself; the system only has three components and I test the antennas prior to shipping them to SAS. As far as others with problems, I've seen maybe five people ever have a complaint out of about 150 of these in the field (99% easily resolved moving the antenna). When properly installed EVERY single one of them I've done works EXACTLY like this one:

Also the ONLY way this has EVER been marketed was to double YOUR factory range, which it did on all five test vehicles prior to launching the product and all 50 I've done myself have done just that.

If anyone has issues with the system or needs help installing it drop me a line privately and I'll be glad to help. Per Rich this will be my last post in this topic, thanks for the review Chad!
