Hi everybody, first time poster but I been lurking the site for a couple of months now :)

A few days ago my car starting making this weird grinding noise coming from the passenger side tires? I know it's not the brakes because the noise happen even when I'm rolling, does anybody has had a similar problem? how to fix it? maybe a TBS?

2008 G8 V6 44k miles, sunroof, leather, sport package.

Any help is appreciated!

Brakes can make noise if they're worn out even when they're not being applied. Get it checked by someone qualified, ie: your local dealer.

Tough to tell by the video. Good job. BTW. I'm guessing brakes also. Sounds more like a squeal than a grind. Could be an accumlation of foreign matter on the rotors. If it's still under warranty, let it be the dealerships problem and not yours. If not, find a good mechanic and go very far away from FIRESTONE. Imma start a thread about them, if they allow me to here. LOL.

They will machine all 4 rotors.I had brake issues as soon i drove off the lot with 5 km on it.Mine were grinding due to rust build up from sitting for a long time.I had to make 2 trips cause dealer twits only machined the front rotors and not the back. Then they tried to accuse me of driving too fast and braking hard and heating up the rotors. Then I said the cars only got 50 km on it, and they shut they're mouth. Why are dealer twits so stupid:slap:

Does the noise go away if you apply the brakes lightly? If so then I'm really leaning towards worn out brakes, But...The pitch of that noise seems just a bit off of normal brake squeal.

With 44K miles I wouldn't be surprised if they're worn out, depending on your driving habits of course. Get It checked by the Dealership

44k miles being 44 thousand right? If it's all city stop & go driving it's possible. Or if the left foot rests on the brake while the right foot drives... I've seen it all.

Ok so I took it to the dealer and on my way there the check engine light came on :(

The tech said the front noise was some hub that was bad and it was covered on the powertrain warranty (I know, wtf) and the check engine light was a fuel pressure regulator and that was going to cost me $350+ but good thing I bought extended warranty and they covered it!

Anyways so I leave the dealer and I hear the damn noise again a few block down but it was too late to return, the dealership was closing when I picked up my car, so I took it again this morning and they got rid of the problem...... it was a damn wooden stick debris stuck somewhere close to the fron rotor LOL!

So it's all good now, thanks for all the help!
