I was cruising along, about to take the exit I needed to, and I see this little gem. I get up next to him, and I hear him downshift, it's too bad I was exiting the other direction from him, would have been fun, even though I'm sure I would have gotten smashed.

The RT/10's (and in turn, the GTS's) have allllways been a favorite car of mine. It's a shame they ended production on them, maybe one of these days I'll be able to pick up an old GTS...
Thanks for the pic, OP, maybe you'll run into him in Mexico soon!

When he downshifted; what did you think of the exhaust note?
It took Dodge a long time to get it right.

I didn't hear much, I had music playing at about 15.

Yeah but most guys who drive vipers DO NOT suck at driving for a number of reasons:
a) a viper is no poser car, it is substantially costlier than a vette and not for the faint of heart, you don't see many used ones around and they hold their value
b) its a "car guy's" car - guys looking for your run of the mill sports/exotic so they can look rich and cool don't typically make their first stop a dodge dealer
c) ever notice how many vipers go to the track?
