Im moving downtown in a couple weeks so after that I would be interested even though my car is still stock.

Assuming I'm available when it happens, I'm in. If it's around here, maybe we could even talk the local tuner (VMS) to show up and sell tunes - might help some people could kill two birds with one stone.

I would definitely like to get the HSRK put on at meet (if it's okay). And maybe someone will be there that has done the GRRRR8 "Cold Air / Panel" Mod, so I can see what it looks like. Maybe I'll have it done by then.

I hope to make it if my car isn't in the shop getting painted. I was in the 25 cent car wash last Sunday and the wind ripped a strip of alum. siding off the carwash and managed to scratch the **** out of my car. 2 days later I was driving up I-75 when a chunk of semi tire flew up from the car in front of me and hit my hood and front 1/4 panel.

One in Waterford on Dixie hwy. The only cool part is the manager actually saw it happen and said get it fixed, no questions asked. The trunk will probably have to be repainted.

My wife was helping me wash the car so I'm glad she wasn't hurt.

The truck tire marks pretty much washed off with a few minor scratches. Oh well, it's only a car. A very fine car IMO, but still just a car. Time for a beer. :drink:

Well i checked the weather and so far sat is going to be 85 and sunny. Don't forget your camera's guys!

You guys should head to Milan MI after the G8 get together, it's less than an hour away. Doors open at 4:00 for basically an all night test and tune (lasted until 2:00 am last year) along with a car show and bikini contest. They dim the lights to give the appearance of street racing but you still get your time slips. You'll have to check Milan's website for more details.

Hurry up and get home! The dogs want their toys back. :wink2:

It's summer in Michigan - with every road either under "construction" or outright cratered, it's not like anyone will have the chance to go very fast. There is the chance of falling into one of the craters, never to be seen again, though...

I had a great time! It was nice getting a chance to meet so many fellow G8 owners today, and I even saw a couple of G8s that *weren't* Liquid Red! Who knew they made another color?<g>

I unfortunately had to leave early, I hope if we do another I can make arrangements to stay longer (Saturday is tough for me, usually "booked"). Thanks to all who organized this and to Vector especially for not only letting us meet there but for being such great hosts.
