Hey everyone..just saw my first G8 in Toronto yesterday. It was a 2008...this dealership is getting the 2009's in 2 weeks..approximately only 20 on this shipment and another shipment about a month or so later...ALSO GREAT NEWS..THE 2009 g8 GT's will be without that disgusting voltmeter and oil gauge. This was confirmed today!!!

buddy, that was confirmed about 3 weeks ago....and the 09 G8s are already full and alive here in alberta, so i would say that you are only a couple days from seeing them in Toronto...

this thread will tell you everything that everybody else already knows...
and the other shipment is only about 10 days out of AB..so again, maybe you'll see em in about 3 weeks...and there are no 08 G8s registered in canada..only 09s

what color are you hoping to get?...i think you and BC are the only provinces that the sport package are auto-shipped to...

I"m thinking about the Metallic Gray...most people are gonna go for the sporty red i'm sure...and yeah the dealer i was at wasn't 100% sure yet on everything that the cars will have but he's gonna let me know asap...but he did mention that most to all of them will be loaded...only a few will be base.

ALOT of the cars, especially the first group are base or one package,
fully loaded GT,SPRT,PREM,SUNROOF are VERY hard to come by...it took my dealer like 5 hours on the phone to track one down..
the first group that they will get, i would guess by next wednesday...were all auto-shipped, so your dealer got no choice of color, and each dealer will only get 2 or 3 of them...so stay on your local dealership! my dealership got 1 Base Sport Red Metallic, and 1 GT Sport Red Metallic.

haha yeah...well he's not even my dealer...my dealer actually now has NO clue to when they're coming in so i had to drive to another one who was showing the 08 G8 yesterday...some big shot GM exec was driving it around showin the dealerships around the area. But yeah they're supposed to get approx. 20...he mentioned a package wit sunroof but wasn't sure about much more. So i'm guessin i might have to wait and see what comes. I'm dyin waitin for this guy!!!!!

I don't know if anyone else addressed this above, but there were no 2008 G8s in Canada. We only get the 2009+
