Besides the car itself I sure hope that the electronic seat motors are fast. There is nothing great about having power seats when you have to wait an eternity for them to move forward or back. I would much rather have a manual seat that I can slide back and forth in a second. I have never had a power seat I liked. Currently have a GTO and we all know how slow the seat motor is.

Agree....not sure why power seats are a 'luxury'. It's heavier and slower than a manual seat. It takes forever to adjust automatic seats into a comfortable position...then when somebody else drives the car you have to do it all over again.
Anyways, something tells me the seat motors will be up to industry standards this time around.

It isn't really that big of deal how fast or slow the motors are in a 4 door, IMO. I have an '04 GTO and put my kids in the back seat all the time. A fast motor would be nice here, but in a 4 door, the only time you need to adjust is for driver preference, you don't need to move the seat to get someone in the back of a G8.

Oh...by the way...you want to see slow motors...try the windows in an fbody.

I've never driven a Monaro/GTO but the motor on the new Commodore although not "fast" is quick.
Ok, point well taken...guess it does not really matter in a four door. Problem resolved.
