Happy fathers day if it applies! Im bringin the new G8 over to a local car show today (Sunday June 15th), if you are in the neighborhood stop by! Looks like it will be a pretty big show. 40 trophies in all. All cars/bikes welcome. It's at Augostinos in West Chicago around North Ave and Rte 59. 9am - 12pm is registration, trophies given at 3:30. 20 bucks. I have been going to these shows for years and there are always a lot of sweet cars to drool over. :) Hope to see someone there!

There was a car show there today? I'v lived right there pretty much my entire life and went by several times today and didn't see car 1 there.

Ya, there was SUPPOSED to be one there. My son and I got up early and cleaned the car. it was raining very early in the morning, but by 9ish it was all cleared up and was a beautiful blue sky day! So we made the long drive from Northbrook to West Chicago. I get to Augostino's (Where the show was to be at) i pull in the lot and there is ONE 1950 ford there all decked out. i asked if there was a car show and they guy told me it got rained out :(

I was pretty bummed. Oh well, my son who is 4 had just as much fun up the road at the coyote something mini golf course :) Then we went to safari land even farther up North ave.

Double K has been doing them there for years. It used to be every Tuesday, with Steak and Shake and Augie's alternating it.
