I do not, I was told it by someone (from a company who's name rhymes with zodiac) and they said it was published somewhere before so it was ok to talk about - but I could not find it in any press release.

If true - and is the G8 GT is the A6, this tracks with my predictions - posted here & elsewhere:

"Looking at the weights, the final drive ratios & the gearing in the six speed automatics of the 545i\550i & G8 ( I will not be buying an M6 ) I will fearlessly predict [ ?? ] that the G8 V8 w/automatic will be just under 14 seconds in the quarter – and 0 to 60 in the mid-5s."

Both VE's are manual. SS and SV6.

The CTS with the same 3.6 (non DI) and 5A is in the high 6's, so the G8 with a bit more weight probably would be in the mid 7's.
