My 05 goat IAT is in the bottom of the MAF housing, which rests on the upper radiator hose. This gives a false air temp for incoming air. GRRRR8 06-19-2008, 02:08 PM IAT is built in to MAF. VMS makes a IAT relocator or heat soak reduction kit. I have it and it works. dropped air temps within 5 degrees actual instead of the +20 to 40. It woke the car up to the point that now it hits the rev limiter in 1st gear because of no/less timing loss. I will have Kirk adjust for that and the other things I have done since the original tune.
