Here are some camera phone photos. Not the best.

It only took a couple of min to install. The WW cap was being difficult, mostly because the bracket that holds it was bent down too far. Anyway, I straightened it up which raised the end of the tube, end of problem. It all looks better than these photos suggest.

Thanks 31. I'm going to be in JAX (St. Johns) at the end of July with my G8. Maybe we meet for a beer.

When did they become available for purchase? last time I saw, R-F just had a proto-type posted here and on ebay? Did you get engine covers too? Where did you order the rad cover from? How much? so many questions! So little time! I have a car show this weekend and would LOVE to get those engine covers if they are available.

The radiator covers are available now. We still have several packaged and ready to go. They have a powder coat black texture finish. They are $169.95 shipped. Here is another pic.:judge:

Radiator cover doesn't look anything close to the quality of the OEM one which is only $10 more including shipping.

Perhaps Dede, but G8V8 has thier intake and their radiator cover mates up with it.

I had both. The OEM looks very good and is a quality piece but when i put the Roto-Fab CAI on, it looked like crap because the cut-out was made to skirt the "boxes" on the OEM intake. With all that gone you have these big cut-out with nothing in them and it looked worse than no cover at all. The R-F cover matches their intake. It is made of aluminum, not plastic, and is VERY well made. Everyone who has seen my car thinks it looks much better now.

OEM intake = Factory cover.
R-F CAI = R-F cover.

G8V8, are you parting with the OEM cover unit? Just wondering that's all.

Actually, I worked out a deal with Roto-Fab a while ago when they wanted to borrow one to see if their CAI could be modified to work with it. They ended wanting it and I wanted their CAI so we worked out a barter toward the CAI I have. They decided to make their own to match their CAI. I now have one of the, if not the, first R-F covers.

I will be at the GM Nationals in Carlisle, PA this Saturday and anybody who wants to see the cover and CAI together can see them on my GT on the Show Field near the Pontiac Pavillion and Capitol City GTO's tent.
