Not getting much help over on LS1gto board so I thought I would give you guys a shot...

Can't find this spoiler on the JHP website (or anywhere else for that matter). It's the spoiler on the Vauxhall VXR8 and HSV VE. Can it be found stateside? Or is this too new to even come across?

Im not the one to answer but since no1 else has answerd yet I will tell you that you can get it, people on this forum have it and it looks great. you have to ship it out from aussy land i think. do a search

or look for "Black pearl" 's car he has it.

Yeah I saw his car earlier, b-ute-iful!!! Where did he get it, JHP? Cause I'm not finding it on their website.

Looked at Black Pearls spoiler and it is not the one I posted and am looking for. His risers for the spoiler are entirely on the trunk deck lid. The one I posted actually wraps over the edge of the trunk. Also the one I am looking for is more wedge shaped on the spoiler end caps...

Yeah, I saw all of those. But none of them have the same risers as in the two pictures that I posted. Thinking I may have to go post on a Holden/Vauxhall board... :banghead:

Contact JHP and ask if they are able to source any of the HSV spoilers in. They have the Senator spoiler so I'd assume they would be able to get a Clubsport or a GTS spoiler.

Yeah, look at the pictures of each again. The VE SS spoiler sits ON the trunk deck lid while the VE HSV GTS spoiler mounts further back actually on the lip of the trunk lid. The VE HSV GTS spoiler also has a "chunkier" look to it. But yeah, they look ALOT alike.

Yeah I finally heard from JHP and that looks like the price for right now. Not even sure if that includes shipping to the US. :whine:

I was actually looking to buy one to modify for the GTO and talk to a manufacturer about making them. Do you think I would get interest from the G8 crowd as well? (Given I produced two different models).

You are correct, but JHP confirmed that what I was looking for was the VE HSV CLUBSPORT / GTS SPOILER (GENUINE HSV). Which might explain why it is so pricey... :(

Correct. The same one I want. I just chose all the bolt ons first so once I had the look I had the POWER. I think 1 of the Cali companies is going to replicate these parts if there is a big enough demand, but I myself would prefer the real thing. Charlie

I see it now... thanks for clarifying. Is the VE SS spoiler not close enough for you? Its pretty similiar, to the point that most people won't know the difference, myself included :)
