Hi all. I have a 2010 camaro and am putting on a track day WITH instructors on Monday Sept 13th.

The cost is going to be $300

The way he said it normally is ran is a "Lead,follow,pass". It is fun this way. Each person in the group (5 to 6) gets a chance to follow directly behind the instructor through the course. Passing occurs in the straights only (usually). The instructor only goes as fast as slow as the group dictates. if we are all on top of the instructor, he speeds up a little each time until separation starts.

Also, he wanted me to make sure your insurance will cover this in case something bad happens to your vehicle while on the track. Even though this is an instructional course, he has seen some insurance companies not covering this. It seems like it is going to be a very small and personal class. This would be a great chance to get some individual time with instructors, or if you are able to qualify for the advanced group, to get the track to yourself. I think there are only a couple people (Pete from Pedders for sure) going in the advanced group.

Just wanted to give this a one week out bump. Next monday is the day.:driving:

Thanks you to everyone that showed up! There were 8 of us. The seven on here and we picked up a 1st GEN guy named RAY on saturday at Summit. His 67 RS was AMAZING! Beautiful car & VERY capable.

The Pedders Springs were amazing as well. Car felt perfect.

I was really hoping for some G8 guys to show.....We had the WHOLE place to ourselves...only eight of us!!!

We had a great time.

I will let you know personally when we do our next one. We are going to try to make this an annual event.
