hey mike, I had a chance to check out your car at the show yesterday. nice ride! I would have liked to say hi, but you weren't around while I was there... Anyways, I never noticed that the rotofabs had an insert that dipped down into that space behind the bumper. they look like they are engineered pretty well. I went out and bought an AFE before I even heard of them. oh well, i can't imagine I'm missing more than 5 hp...

Whats the difference between the oiled and dry versions? I'd assume dry is better since its a tad more expensive. But why?

The Oiled Filter is cleaned every 30,000 miles with a cleaning kit, and should last the life of the car. The downside is, if you accidently over oil your filter, oil can get on your MAF sensor and cause the car to not rund right. The dealer may deny warranty service if they can tie the oiled filter to causing the MAF sensor issue.
The Dry filter requires no oil (and causes no warranty issues) and lasts 60-100,000 miles under normal driving. Once that time has passed you buy a new filter.

Is the v6 filter oiled or dry? If it's oiled, are they sold as a dry package too?

They are Oiled if you would like the dry filter it would be an additional $12.

Thanks for an excellent sale, Mike. My Rotofab is installed and ready to rock, the ECM take a few days to learn after leaving it disconnected for an hour and a half. Excellent fit and finish, took only an hour to install.

I received mine just in time for the Goat Run. Installed and everything looks and fits awesome

Just my luck. Well that sucks. :(

All I can say is HOLY S***, today was the 1st extended drive to work, Being I only had 17 driven miles on my Rotofab before..........a cool and dry morning.........it's like trying to contain a tiger in a burlap sack is the best description. Off course using SC Rotofab 91 tune with 25% TQ, 150 rpm shift points, raised speed, DOD still intact.
