you guys didn't test drive it? if you didn't know how she'd like it, i would not have risked the 35k on buying it in the first place...

Is the car yours or for both of you. If she has her own ride, keep the G8 and tell her tough darts.

I have had the car for 3 weeks been in the shop 3 x and I still have the problems.

I thought the Aussies built a good car.

I thought the car was mature and not new. Only the body style and interior.

I'm trying to find the root cause of my problems.

Thumping when first pushing the gas pedal. Did TSB same problem.

Cel light come on twice.

Car stalled twice.

Auto start malfunction. Does not disengage starter.

Rough idle.

I assume the engine problems sre from assembly in Mexico with American engine.

Unsure whether the thump is engine related or suspension.
If suspension, it's Aussies problem. Since the TSB has been done I assume it is an engine problem as it still sounds like a clutch fan engaging.

There is a guy in FL looking for one he can get UNDER MSRP so he has low payments. if the car is NOT a lemon I will send you his info. On a personal note, wish someone had bought my G8 lol! I'd NOT be complaining that is for sure!
