Just read the article in motor trend, pretty good write up. They claim around $38 grand for the car. Still has the hood scoops and a slight interior upgrade. Looks like it has a lower stance then the gt. Is it worth 7 grand more for a few upgrades and 40 hp? Not to me, but, lot will want one. I already have an intake and I'll probably do the ECM and have the same hp and still have 6 g's left over. Should be an awsome car with the 6 speed tranny. Let it eat.

True, but the GXP with an intake/exhaust and tune will be way out in front ;) Lots more potential in the 6.2 motor than the 6.0, plus the 6-speed and upgraded suspension, it'll be a better performer overall. And it's really only probably going to be about $5k more than a loaded GT given the price increase.

Thats true, it should put up some pretty impressive numbers. When I had mine dynoed on the power tour, a 2006 gto was just ahead of me, 400 hp stock, he had some exhaustwork, tune and intake. He put up 353 hp on the dyno. Probably about 435 at the crank. He just had a superchips hand held loader. It was hot that day, so, he probably had a few more ponies under good conditions. Definetly should be a fast gxp, just to rich for my blood. Its gonna burn a bunch of fuel and gas guzzler tax also.
