I have a 12w6v2 and was thinking of getting a 13w6v2. Are you using a ported or sealed box? How good is the sound quality and SPL and what are you powering i9t with, just curious, cant seem to find reviews on that sub.

The sound is great they removed the factory subs so I have two hole at the rear window and the sub is exposed however they will be making a grill on top.

Where does the air (sound) displaced by the sub vent? How does that flooring above the sub not rattle? Very cool.

I sometimes open the pass through and the custom shop removed the subs from the back window and the "bass" goes through that!! also I have a knob that I can adjust the bass higher and lower.

Looks nice but probably would be better downfired so it could load off of something...I'll be experimenting in the near future with a few different designs, once I have one that works I may offer to make a few for some of you guys on here. I'll keep you all updated...

Is the fix a flat stuff still there somewhere, and if not, what are you doing for a spare?

No, I moved to Houston back in January and no longer have access to a shop to mess with it. I'm presently deciding if the Kenwood CarPortal is worth the money or not. Its the first solution similar to what I wanted. If I go home to Baton Rouge to install it next weekend I may build a sub enclosure while I'm there. I think a pair of 10's can fit with very little effort and minimal use of fiberglass. Probably a pair of Focal 27V2 polyglass 11'' subs or a pair of JL Audio W6v2 10's.

Looks decent, but the sub needs to be exposed on the top. They can easily create a custom floor and do that, even putting a grill on top of it.

You're muffling things by having your trunk floor sitting right on top of the sub, and you're hindering excursion, and probably causing unnecessary vibrations/rattles in the trunk.
