Just thinking out loud here...

I was not planning on getting a sport,but that is what was on the truck so... well the rims have grown on me, except that they are tucked inside the fenders too much. Any reason not to run a spacer until i get aftermarkets?

give it a shot....i would think as long as it clears your calipers you would be fine...

spacers are acceptable as long as they aren't too thick as to put too much stress on the ends of your lug bolts, or you may need to install longer ones. also, be aware anytime you use spacers you add a lot of stress to the wheel bearings due to added distance from the lug nuts to the bearings, basically a stress leverage increase. spacers aren't recommended for spirited/hard driving, but as long as you keep the thickness to a minimum you should be ok.
