I installed my HIDs yesterday. Look great. Took about 30mins per side. I did not want to take the wheel off, so I did it all from the top.

It is frustrating doing it this way, but less work altogether. Not sure if it any faster than getting it through the wheel well either.

To put it in perspective, this is eaily a 5min per side job if it weren't so hard to get your hand in there and manipulate stuff. So 5 mins getting things done and 25 mins frustration. Yep, that sounds about right.

Looks good. I wanted an ultra clean installation, and my hands are bigger sized, so going from the top really didn't work for me. Below gives some good places to mount the ballasts, and it takes no more than 10 minutes to jack the car, remove the wheel, and remove the front half of the inner fender. It's time well spent since the last thing I want is headlight problems in the middle of the night. Did you run an alternative relay harness or plug into the factory headlamp harness? I love my HIDs.

No relays. Plugged into harness. Also removed DRL fuse. May later switch the DRLs to the Fogs or High beams.
