Just curioius, has anyone seen any figures on how well the car will handle?????? G rating????

I've read every Commodore SS road test that I could find on the web, and none of them included objective handling or roadholding test results (such as skidpad g or lane change speed).

Here you go..... Read under the "Right On Track" paragraph part. It talks about the 6.0 litre Commodore SS in the slalom and its skid pad test.

So much for my search skills :embarrassed:, I guess it's back to Web Surfing 101 for me. The sad thing is I found that article, but I missed the skidpad and slalom test numbers.

Seriously though, I was the one in the back seat while he and DMS did all the driving. He pretty much hit it spot on and made it sound pretty good.

I like it, I want one for me and the family. Good looking, fun to drive after its been Pedderised and potential for lots of power. Something that the wife will enjoy.

Currently, as of tonight, Pete Basica has the best handling G8 in the country. He just finished a Extreme System install, which is all the bushes and the rear diff bushesm and also our adjsutable coil overs, which are a serious coil over with still seriously good ride control. Pete has a thread going on it and I will not steel his thunder. He had lots of complciations installing due to some severe, lengthy power outagouses at the dealership, but it was done about 10:30 tonight.

If any of you have seen his GTO, you know it is extrmely modified, and is a wide body with 315 tires on it. He says, with stock tires, his new G8 will out handle his GTO with a much better ride quality. More on this later, so watch his threads and have suspension envy.

Oh by the way, when he talks about the custom chrome plated adjsutable coil overs, there were 2 sets made in the world, and I have the other set!. They were custom made for Sema last year to look pretty, and they are totally functional!. So if anyone wants a to die for set of coil overs, that look fantastic, and are signed by Scott Pedders and Pete, you know who has them

I saw a number of .88g. Awesome for such a large sedan that is still stock.
