Many new models are exempt from these programs ... anyone know for sure if they are or aren't? The dealer didn't seem to know.

I used the GM supplier discount. The dealer tried to weasel out of letting me but when he realized I would walk if he didn't, he gave it to me. I got somewhere around 2K off. The sales guy did say that he was unable to buy a G8 with his discount. I had assumed he was BSing me but maybe not.

I got mine at GMS pricing due to being in the military. You just have to find a dealership that is willing to honor it.

Employee pricing is at dealer discretion. My local dealers won't do "S" pricing on a GT.

I wasn't allowed to use my employee discount OR a supplier pricing(My dad can get that) :(

I got supplier/friends of GM employee pricing and the loyalty discount back in early April.
Total savings was around $2,500. but part of that was I only had to pay a $75. acquisition fee to dealer , when they normally charge $400. to not GM pricing customers. Guess in FL, they have to charge it to everyone if they charge one customer. Only way to get around it is negotiating selling price/trade. BUMMER...

All in all... a great deal on a marvelous car!

I used both when I got my 08. Ok technically they just used my card points... they never asked me formy supplier code or anything... they just accepted that i was eligable and discounted the car.

If your dealer actually submits your GM supplier code, it is my understanding that you cannot apply your GM card savings. Anyway,I was not allowed to do this, considering I got both the GM suppler savings and the owner loyalty savings in effect at the time.

I used my employee discount. Just depends if the dealer is willing to accept it as they dont have to.
