I don't have a personalized plate for my G8, but here's the one on my '69 Olds 442,"RCKTPWR". It has a built Olds 455 "Rocket V8":wink2:

Originally, it stood for 4 speed, 4 barrel and dual exhaust, in '65 when Olds put the 400 cu. in. BBO in the car it became 400, 4 barrel and dual exhaust. Then in '68 "442" was simply the model name, that was the 1st year of the Hurst Olds which was a 455. When the 442 originated in '64 it had a 330 cu.in Olds small block in it. In '71 when the insureance wars started and the smog engines were introduced, the Olds 350 small block was standard with the 400 and 455 as options although at much redued power. Additionally, in '66 & '67 there was also a tri-power 400. If you haved one of those intakes it's worth a couple of "K". Next Olds question.:)

The DMV here told me what it was registered to. A cadillac CTS, not even a CTS-V. I was mad but I guess DRCUSTOM is right, 4DR GTO probably does relate to more people.

I have the AZ Highways Plate. They give some of the proceeds to AZ Highways Magazine. Pretty plate; but if you have too many charachters it covers up the two black cactuses on both sides of the plate. So I wanted something short. 4 charachters.

G8GT was taken. When I looked at the rear fascia I noticed on the left side was GT and on the right was G8. So I just did GTG8. My cacti now show on the plate. :)

Well, they allowed PMD-6006. Someone might still have PMD-1828. NC DMV has been going in order (AAB, AAC, AAD) and I'm not sure what they are going to do after they get to ZZZ-9999 b/c I have seen several cars riding around with plates that begin with X.

Maybe AAAA-001 will be next. I like the GXP plate better than the PMD, I think that's a good choice.
