What products are you using and what methods are you using to keep the tips clean?

Are the tips stainless steel or chrome?

They looked chrome to me. If they start getting a little dirty and you can't get them clean with normal soap and wash methods, try some Mothers Aluminum Wheel polish on a microfiber cloth.

I just put some polish on a rag and go in there. Then wipe it clean. Not much you can do.

Yeah, my tips get NASTY dirty. I guess I beat on it too much.

They are polished stainless. I just use the same wash mitt I use on the wheels after I'm done with the wheels and wash them off and the polished part of the inside of the tip. Wipes right off as long as you do it every time you wash it.

Agreed - this is my method as well. I've cleaned them at every wash and they still look brand new.

It's all about making sure you do it regularly. Left too long, they'll start to corrode pretty quick

Steel wool and some good ol' teenage wrist action on the inside solves that problem quick.

I couldn't get mines clean until I whipped out the good old steel wool, now just a soapy rag cleans them like new.
