Thank You Sir! I made a trick bracket to tilt it up at a slight angle. I pulled all snap in panels out to make sure no interference with a/c actuator, dash reinforcements, brake pedal arm etc.

Can it be removed so you can hook your laptop to the dashhawk?

I am doing a usb port right below mp3 jack (vertical) that the hawk will be hooked to so I can just plug my laptop into the usb port. I think they call that "HI TEC REDNECK" :) My dashhawk will unvelcro from bracket and I have extra cable. I really do not need it for other vehicles because I have a Snap-On Modis and OTC genisis. I bought the dashhawk primarily for G8 use only as well as this lap top I am on. The car has had almost all of its birthday/christmas presents in less then 2 months.

I think I am going to do the passport XR7 lasar jammer and remote passport system and recess them in the console right in front of the dashhawk.
