I am looking at various models Holden has, basically the new Pontiac G8 will actually be one of the following
... the new commodore SS or (not bad)
will it be the HSV GTS (Looks excellent)
or Commodore clubsport (second to the HSV)
or the R8 (almost same as the R8)

So what is it we're gonna get statesides?

I think it will be most like the Commodore SS, with an SS-V type interior.....

The only capital I have never been to. West Ozzies (I'll refrain from calling you westies) are the people who, when they tell you where they are from you feel like you can tell. There's just something that's not quite right?

USCGTO, did you find the Gold Coast as tacky as I do? I live about 3 hours north and find the Gold Coast to be a bit...fully sick. :D

I've always wanted to vacation in Austrailia. I love snorkeling and would love to check out the Great Barrier Reef. I heard it's a beautiful country......

I agree with you isszy, I've been all over Oz with my work & holidaying but still find Melbourne the best to live, the rest is just great to visit.

They have these marvelous big fish they call White Pointers!! They love snorkerlers and all manner of marine mammals. They appear really well adapted to the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem as well! Say hi for me if you're ever out there (er, I mean "G'Day")

I grew up in Melbourne but specifically avoided moving back there for a variety of reasons. These days, the Victorian govmint is getting ridiculous with its speed cameras. Queensland has plenty of entertaining drives, better weather (unless you like the cold), more beaches and subsidised fuel (I paid 105.7 before discounts yesterday).
The only thing that could make me even consider heading south again is bundles of cold hard cash. Yes, you would have to pay me to move:p

I don't like the humidity in QLD, and I only pay 44.5...

The vic govt tell you that speed cameras are a voluntary contribution system. I think I voluntarily contributed on Alexandra Pde the other night on the way home from the airport...
