Dude, is it just me or can you not order anything off your site except the solar shade? I desperately need and want the replacement carpet for my trunk.

One question for you regarding the carpet for the trunk... Is this simply a loose piece of carpet or does it come attached to the firm backing that the stock carpet has? It needs something to support the opening overtop the spare tire compartment. If your replacement version has this support, I'll buy one now.

Its a loose piece of fabric thats made similarly like the floor mats in the interior of the car. Its a very durable and also has a thick liner that lays on the floor of the trunk.

Just to confirm about the trunk piece - I currently have nothing back there (just an empty trunk with open spare tire well). Your replacement unit will cover the entire area AND provide support enough to put items in the trunk without the carpet sinking into the spare tire well?

Sorry I must have misunderstood your 1st post. No you need to have the original floor support. This is a cargo mat similar to a floor mat.

Not that I know of. WTF IS a Yamaha Venture? Ah, I see. I am strickly a 4 wheels on the road guy now. Too many trips to the emergency room when I had my Bultaco 250cc.

I did grow up in Concord, CA tho'..............WEIRD!

The Venture is a full dresser with the same motor as the V-Max. I was on a forum called the Venturers and there was a guy on there going by Penguin, just thought it might be you.

Ya, I feel you on the emergency tips. I have been lucky so far and reduced my riding time. Just way too many crazy drivers out there that love to tail me. Wasn't a problem in the past but I have progressed from sport bikes to standards to supermotos and now the full dresser. I try to ride more responsibly now (kids, mortgage etc to think about) and I actually feel much less safe than when I was racing around and straddling lanes at crazy speeds.

Bultaco? I think you just gave a big hint as to your age! Concord has changed a lot recently. How long since you have been out this way?

OK, please note that this purchase request is now almost 1 month old. So far I have called 8-12 times and left MANY voice messages. Have sent a lot of e-mails to them on their site, and thanks to smtkd for trying his best. So far I have not been able to place an order for any of these fine looking items. Response to all attempts to order has been ZERO. I did get a call on the cell once telling me I could order online http://www.customautoaccessories.com/mm5/merchant.mvc? Theoretically you can enter the G8 info and then go to "custom embroided" but there is no visual there that shows the product, so I would be ordering $300.00+ parts in the blind. I also see nothing about the seat belt cushions. At this point I would not trust these folks with a CC # or a Paypal transaction. I'm not even sure they actually have the items shown. :(

If anyone else has been able to determine that they are actually serious about selling, and delivering any of this stuff, please let me know because I really like those logo floormats.

I ordered the floor mats and seat belt covers, got silver around the trim of the mat. I ordered them by phone and had them witin 9 working days.

I sent a pm to biggdogg and his response was they don't have any license agreement w/Holden and they didn't plan on getting one. So, they don't have anything with Holden on them.

really sucks the floor mats are no longer available. I didn't have a G8 when they were available, and they look pretty sharp. Hopefully you can get it worked out w/ GM and continue to sell. Good luck
