I saw on the Today Show this morning where they were showing the new convertible Chevy Camaro. I thought production numbers were 150 to be made at 75,000. The horsepower was said to be 426HP.

It appeared to be a plain, purple in color, tan leathers seats with black in middle of seats. The tires even had the red stripe wall on them. I personally would not buy it for even $25,000. Did anyone else see this? I like the looks of some of the camaros with nice paint schemes and thought I'd want one there for a while. I think I've changed my mind. Price is ridiculous on alot of these newer cars. Please come back Pontiac!

Don't know the price for the regular production convertibles, but I'm sure they will be a few thousand dollars higher then the coupe.

What you saw was the Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro Convertible. It has special paint and interior. There are only going to be 100 of them made. They sold out in 3 minutes. Only these special cars are going for $75K. Normal verts will be about $5K higher than a similarly equipped coupe.
