It don't seem to work per owners manual. Is there something I'm missing? Now unless this function is only for 09.5's, GT's, or GXP's let me know. The owners manual don't distingish between models. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll try to throw it out without the book. It suppose to adjust the radio, HVAC according to what key is used on the last setting.

Is yours supposed to remember the seat settings too? My manual mentions it, but I can't be bothered reading it all.

The answer is the marketing people fooked us over. Or maybe it was the last minute bean counters.

It's in the manual, but not an option on the car.

Maybe a class action lawsuit? ;)

It has something to do with remembering the settings of the radio and some other functions identified with each specific key. I'm unsure if this function works or not.

Pfft. Actually you didn't get the barebone ones. Yours are the best ones we have here. After that, they go to the Club sport, HSV, etc.
Yours have Onstar, climate control, etc. Mine doesn't.

We don't have all the curtsy lamps, reverse sensors, backup camera, auto dimming rear view mirror, manual tranny for the V6 and V8's, navigation(us regs), front and rear dvd, trunk power outlet, towing package, personalized key, lmited slip diff for V6, thats all I can remember. That stuff is not offered to us here. I can understand GM did it for afforabilty reasons, but its still stuff that is not available to us unless we find it for ourselves.

Works for me in New Zealand on the standard sv6 if I use the spare key it changes all of the settings, I don't know why you guys would want it though its bloody anoyying when I use the spare key all me settigns are gone and I really can't be bothered changing them back :)
