I know this is late notice, but I'm about to head up into the mountains north of Dahlonega. Planning on doing the 180 loop. Just take 19 up north of Dahlonega, follow it up the mountain, take a left on Wolf Pen Gap Road (180), and at the bottom take a left on 60 to get back. I'll be going the opposite direction (clockwise) so if I pass you turn around :)

Don't expect anyone will see this by the time I'm done, but if so feel free to come out and have some fun :)

Well I had fun! The Goat held up quite well and I scared a few bikers (bicycles, not motorcycles) and a couple idiots RUNNING on the white line of a road with no shoulder :rolleyes: Gee, who would've thought there might be CARS on a public road.

Great weather, great fun, and all for $25 worth of gas :D

You Georgia guys must be starving for twisties. Im lucky enough to live near Boone, NC, they are in abundance around here. A couple places I would recommend, Deals Gap along the Tennesse border and Highway 181 going from Morganton NC up to Boone. And of course anyplace along the parkway for a "nice" comfy ride.

Just a little update, here's some video of our run this Saturday. This is just a small part of it, I cut out everything before/after and cut out about 2-3 minutes where we were stuck behind a motorcycle. Would be great to have more cars next time!

Get your car out of what shop? I hope it's to have things added rather than fixed! Not sure when I'll go again, probably in about a month or so. The whole trip takes a little over a half a tank of gas and I'm sure takes a few thousand miles off of my tires, not to mention half a day, so I don't go too often.
