Hey Guys & Girls

After the long wait I picked my Series 2 VE up about 2 weeks ago and thought its about time i got some pictures up.

So far I have put quad tips from the V8 version and the tail lights from the SS-V. Not sure what's next on the list but don't really want to destroy mt new car warranty so will have a chat with the service guys before I go much further.

I would like to change the CAI to maybe a SS Inductions Growler? (ssinductions.com.au) Get a set of genuine forged wheels (http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs641.snc4/60117_431653939897_5730024897_4788445_3189609_a.jp g)(with aftermarket shadow chrome) Would love to go a bit lower but if warranty doesn't allow then a set of the new FE3 suspension will do and should have no issues with warranty.

As for future Visual Mods, I have been looking for a style of racing stripes I like and have come across these (http://www.thevjmporium.com/2010/10/ford-falcon-gt.html). The only real issue with them is I'm not sure what the cost would be to have a set made up to fit the VE. It also may not go down to well putting ford style stripes on a Holden :|

Still plenty of time to make up my mind of what to do next.

If you replace the SV6 rims, ship your "stock" ones as pictured to me!!! I love those, they look very nice.

I prefer the G8 V6 "twinspoke" rims myself, but it looks like your rim design has been updated for 2010; something sadly us here in the states are unable to obtain. Booo.

Beautiful ride and awesome color. Post up some more pics when you get a chance, but PLEASE DO NOT post any more showing rims... you've made me suffer enough! lol j/k

They are a type of CAI, although I have only heard them on youtube videos I have heard good things about them on some of the local holden forums and they seem pretty simple for a DIY install.

I'll bag out fords till i'm blue in the face, but at the end of the day if i wasn't driving a holden, a ford would be my second choice.

Don't have much to compare it to, my last car had a 3.8l ecotec but thats over 10 years old now so it was always going to be a huge improvement over that. I have had no issues with it thou.

Its the 3.6L SIDI motor which i'm pretty sure is the LLT.

Thanks for the additional pics. Lets see, Direct Injection, 6 speed MT and quad exhaust. Yes that sounds just like the 2011 G8 V6. Oh thats right, there was not a 2011 G8 V6 with all those nice things. Yea they would not have sold any like that here in the States. LOL I can't stop laughing.

I have one on my G8 GT and it performed extremely well, both on the dyno and 1/4... I was lucky though, I got it for $400 shipped from AUS, and I seriously doubt you could get one to the states for less than $600 now... It is a great CAI though and, IMO, a better performer than most of the other CAI's on the market...

Its the LLT that is based off the LY7.
