Just to be clear, the package price with our ported intake and throttle body INCLUDES a dyno tune. Updating the first post.

can you explain the differance between a dyno tune and a street tune, besides the obvious? also does your tune come with or have available a hand held device so the tune can be removed before going to the dealer for service?

Well the tune is both a dyno tune and a street tune. First we'll dyno the car and get WOT right, then we'll take it out on the street to verify part throttle and how WOT runs on the street. There is NO substitute for testing the car on the street to make sure it is running correctly.

A street tune would be just me hooking my equipment up to the car and tuning it on the street. No dyno numbers. More risk of cops/deer/etc. But I do find that the proper street tune will 99% of the time be within 1% of the power of a dyno tune.

Excelent exlaination, but what about the hand held. Do you have that capability?

I do not have the capability to put it on a handheld. However, if you ever want to revert to your stock tune or any other tunes we make, I will put them on for no charge. Just need to bring the car to me.

i appreciate that however since i am in va, the drive to get the tune off everytime i need to get the car serviced by the dealer would probably be too far to be practical. Are your tunes locked? are you willing to tune using a customers hpt or efi live? that might make it more feasable for myself and anyone else who lives some distance away. Then we could remove the tune with our laptop ourself if necessary.

I do not lock my tunes. And if you have hpt I have no problem sending you the files.

We could use a customer's hpt or efi live too, would be odd though not using my own computer lol.
