Martin 07-04-2008, 11:31 PM I was thinking about
RotoFab Cold Air Intake @ 339 $ http://www.haddadmotorsports.com/catalog/rotofab-cold-intake-system-pontiac-p-169.html
(http://www.haddadmotorsports.com/catalog/rotofab-cold-intake-system-pontiac-p-169.html)
Magnaflow Cat Back System @ 749 $

(The 3 links I provide here have different price but are they the same thing )
ARH Headers http://www.americanracingheaders.com/homepage.html
(http://www.americanracingheaders.com/homepage.htm)
Anybody knows where I can get that ? And How much ?
Is it compatible so far with the Magnaflow thing ?
I was also thinking about a Cut Out just in Case I do need the Extra sound and head turning
160 $ http://.pfyc.com/pc/GN5002/04EXH/Quick+Time+Electric+Exhaust+Cutout.html
Can i put the 3 pieces of pipe together and they will work ? Will I see Hp gains ?
Also I found an Heat Soak thing 99 $ http://vectormotorsports.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=63&category_id=41&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28
Do I need this ? Does it help ?
And Finaly a tune for Premium Fuel ? How does that work ? 350 $ http://www.vectormotorsports.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=60&category_id=39&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28
Does that work ? Should I take the one that comes with the Roto Fab Air intake ? Or should I get my car tuned after all the parts are in so I get best tune possible ?
I am a noob in cars so if you could help me sort this out, it would be much appreciated but a 450 Hp Pontiac G8 Gt Sounds quite nice to me haha
GRRRR8 07-05-2008, 10:04 AM See my sig. These are proven mods with great results. The headers will make it even better. Make sure tune is done for intake and or headers.
GeorgeInNePa 07-05-2008, 01:04 PM Roto-Fab and a tune to start with.
If you don't have a local tuner, Vector Motorsports offers the roto and a tune package.

Not been on a dyno, but with the ETs and performance I would guess 430-440 flywheel HP.
Martin 07-05-2008, 06:31 PM Thx for the Answers man !!!
As soon has someone can confirm me that I can hook all of that together withtout any issues (the pipes are they all compatible ?) Then il'l start ordering some of that stuff.
If all that stufff give me 430-440 Hp guess.... and I add up the Underdrive Pulley will I hit 450 Hp ? And also where could I found the belt required for it ? Says on the site that it need another belt ?
zosoboogie 07-05-2008, 07:39 PM if that supercharger came down in price a little then I would go for it!!!

L0L
Wouldn't we all.
After checking into it, it's not a bad price. Everything, I mean everything, is in that kit. Bigger injectors, you name it.
I'm still trying to come up with a way to start that conversation with the wife.
:wink2:
racerx 07-05-2008, 08:38 PM Conversation with the wife should go like this, check out all the stuff i got for my ride babe.....man this stuff is sweet!

I believe that is with the underdrive pulley.

Th American Racing headers and the Magnaflow cat back will not directly bolt up. The ARH headers and the exhaust system are compatible with Magnaflow axle backs.

Yes it is. He is just so HP hungry he cant see straight. LOL They say the thought of running 12s will make u go blind, I am begining to believe them. LOL

Meaning what for me ? That I should order Magna Flow Axle back on top of it ? What about the Cut Outs ?
G8 Ray 07-06-2008, 07:21 AM If you want the headers from American Racing, then Magnaflow axle backs are the mufflers that will bolt up. I'm sure if you read the threads on this in the forum, you could have figured it out by yourself.
Martin 07-06-2008, 09:37 PM So to make sure I get this right
ARH + Magnaflow Axle Back + Cut out + Magnaflow Cat Back = :driving:
Or is it
ARH + Magnaflow Axle Back + Cut out = :driving:

IF your cutout is 2.5" diameter.

Where can i Found that Magnaflow Axle Back ??? All I see is the other one "Magna Flow Cat Back"
And on top of that with what ever mention on top there will I keep my original mufflers ? Or will I have a nice magnaflow one ? What does the Axle back includes ?
Thanks a lot my man !!!!! :)
Sorry again for the barrage of question, but I know **** about cars ... and I dont want an 800$ piece of car in my garage ;)
GRRRR8 07-07-2008, 09:05 AM Axle backs are from the axle to the bumper "mufflers" Cat back is from the cats all the way back with MF mufflers. The cat back looks and sounds great.

You can use your factory axle-backs with the ARH system. MF is getting ready to produce an axle-back muffler for the G8. Thay are not for sale yet, but will be soon.
Martin 07-07-2008, 10:02 PM I'm having a Hard time finding the Magnaflow Axle Back instead of the Magnaflow Cat back that WONT hook up to the ARH Headers....
GRRRR8 07-07-2008, 10:07 PM Axle backs not available from MF yet. Stolen fox was making them with MF mufflers. According to posts we may see them again soon.
